CCSI Clusteron Server Nodes Each server node in the Clusteron™ is especially designed by CCSI engineers for the Clusteron™ appliance. Anticipating the high performance requirements of the typical cluster installation, it is designed for dual Intel or dual AMD CPU’s of the highest speed available. To provide adequate cooling for a Thermally-Correct™ solution in a high density installation, CCSI Quadra-Side™ cooling design is used, along with the CCSI Wind-Tunnel™, to deliver cooling air from outside the chassis directly to the processors. With CCSI Quadra-Side™ enclosure cooling to bring outside cooling air to each processor, air is drawn in from the front and left side, and expelled in the rear and right side. Hot air is not recirculated within the enclosure. Intel Xeon CPU’s which are not adequately cooled may throttle back operating speed, in order to avoid and don’t fail or have shortened life from overheating. CCSI servers exhibit superior performance in any cluster or rack mount installation.
